The Wim Hof Method consists of three pillars: breath work, cold exposure, and mindset/ commitment. Together, they form the basis for exercising increased control over your own physiology and biochemistry.

  • Workout vascular system

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Stimulate the de-stressing systems in the body

  • Influence blood pH

  • Improve metabolic efficiency

  • Harmonize hormonal system

  • Improve energy and mood

Gradual Cold Exposure

As Wim so often says, "the cold is your warmest friend."  Exposing oneself to the cold sets off several beneficial physical and hormonal changes in the body.  It can also help us strengthen our ability to adapt to stressful environments.

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Build stress resilience

  • Strengthen vascular system

  • Suppress overactive immune system

  • Improve focus, attention, and mood

  • Improve sleep

  • Stimulate development of brown fat (and conversion of white fat)

  • Exercises the body's thermoregulatory system

  • Accelerate recovery

Mindset & Commitment

Becoming the best versions of ourselves requires us to sometimes take the more difficult but rewarding path.  The WHM helps build mental fortitude and resilience and provides a foundation on which one can develop the mastery of one's body and mind.

  • Increase self-awareness and discipline

  • Strengthen decision-making (i.e., quiet the proverbial devil on your shoulder)

  • Accelerate the pace of becoming the best version of yourself
